The United States is abundant in natural beauty. There are quite literally hundreds, maybe thousands of sites in the U.S. where you can enjoy this outdoor beauty. Some areas are world renowned for not only their landscape but their amazing campsites and features for families with kids of all ages to explore and enjoy. Below are some of the best places to visit in the states.
Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is one national park that is well known but still often forgotten. Yosemite provides some of the most spectacular views in not just the U.S. but the entire world. The stark cliff sides, waterfalls taller than the eyes can see, and dizzyingly high viewpoints will leave anyone with a dropped jaw and a craving to see more.
There are hotels, RV sites, campsites, and glamping sites within the park to suit the needs of any family. There are also hikes and viewpoints that are accessible for everyone, some of the more popular attractions being Glacier Point, Taft Point, Yosemite Falls, Vernal Falls, and Mirror Lake.
Lake Powell
Lake Powell, which stretches through Arizona and Southern Utah, is part of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. It’s home to many scenic vistas, geographical wonders, and relics of human history. In addition to a wide range of backcountry activities, Lake Powell offers its visitors a unique opportunity for fishing, boating, and other lakefront leisures. There is camping, hiking, houseboats and more available, making it an ideal location for family vacations or outdoor retreats.

Out n’ About Treesort
Out n’ About Treesort in Oregon is a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors that’s a bit more off the beaten path. The 15 treehouses are located within the Siskiyou mountain range and can be enjoyed by anyone who hasn’t outgrown treehouses yet – which is all of us!
